On 25th July 2018 a further five doctoral candidates successfully completed their doctoral degrees at the Faculty of Management and Economics.

Innovation in Cyclic Shift Scheduling for Emergency Medical Services using Integer Programming Formulations

The article "Cyclic shift scheduling with on-call duties for emergency medical services" written by Becker, Steenweg und Werners has been published in the journal „Health Care Management Science“ and is also available online.

Dual Degree conferred in Accounting and Auditing
20.07.2018:
On 14th July 2018 the third year of the dual Master degree programme in Accounting and Auditing successfully completed their studies – and were conferred with a dual degree jointly awarded by the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the Westphalian Wilhelm University of Münster.

The faculty is headed by the Dean and the Vice Dean. They are supported by the Dean's Office which serves as

• a contact point for members of the faculty
• an interface to the Central Administration of the Ruhr-University
• a focal point for national and international interested persons of the university- and non-university-based sector as well as for
• the alumni and future projects.

By cooperating with renowned research organizations, foreign partner universities, nationally and internationally successful companies and representatives of other research institutions, the course contents of the Faculty of Management and Economics are constantly adapted to the current demands of an increasingly globalized world.
