BOWI – Association of Bochum Economists
BOWI is the alumni club of the Faculty of Economics at Ruhr University Bochum. It fosters connections among Bochum economists after graduation and links current and former students with their faculty. BOWI is an independent, non-profit association of alumni of our faculty. Founded in early 1994, it has nearly 1,000 members from all graduating classes. BOWI provides a forum for Bochum economists where old connections and friendships from their student days can be renewed and new ones forged. At the same time, it maintains contacts with the Bochum Faculty of Economics and promotes dialogue between academia and industry.
