As part of a live webinar organized by the Ghana–NRW University Alliance, Ruhr University Bochum participated in an online information session on postgraduate study opportunities in Business and Economics. The event was aimed at prospective students from Ghana and featured contributions from several universities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
During the session, Benjamin Y. Koch presented Ruhr University Bochum’s new Master of Science in Global Sustainability Economics (GSE). The presentation introduced the academic focus of the program, its structure, and its emphasis on applying modern economic analysis to global sustainability challenges. A particular highlight was the exchange with prospective students, who showed strong interest in the program’s content and its global and policy-oriented perspective.
The webinar provided a valuable opportunity to engage directly with an international audience and to discuss how the GSE program prepares students for addressing complex economic, social, and environmental issues at the global level.
