The Chair of Environmental/Resource Economics and Sustainability is looking for a temporary full-time (39.83 hrs/week = 100%) research associate as Chapter Scientist (Working Group III, Chapter 9, Energy Systems) as of 01.04.2026 until 31.10.2028 (end of project). Apply until 16.03.2026.

The research focus of the Chair (Prof. Dr. Andreas Löschel) is on environmental, climate and energy economics as well as the sustainable behavior of people. The chair deals methodologically with modelling as well as with experimental and empirical work. A large part of our work is financed within the framework of third-party funded projects. One of these projects aims to support the Chair holder in the context of his activities in the preparation of the 7th IPCC Assessment Report (Working Group III, Chapter 9, Energy Systems). Since 1988, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been advising the governments of the now 195 member states on the design of their climate policies.
