Speech held by Prof. Roos – The Networked and Autonomous Vehicle

Wednesday, 13th June 2018

The first self-driving cars without a human driver have been on the road since Autumn 2017. The Deutsche Bahn is already experimenting with driverless shuttle buses. Self-driving vehicles could revolutionize transportation, because you no longer need to own your own car. What implications does this have for the public transportation system and the German car industry? Can Germany’s leading industry survive the competition from internet and car-sharing companies?
Approximately 80 visitors attended the event and were positively impressed by the inspiring and entertaining talk.
