Student Exchange with the New School of Social Research (NSSR) (USA)

Background

Up to two RUB students enrolled in the Master's programme “Management and Economics” as well as "Economics" are eligible to spend one semester at the
Department of Economics at the New School for Social Research in New York (USA).

The NSSR was founded in 1919 and follows an interdisciplinary approach.

More than 1,000 students from all regions of the United States and from more than 70 countries are currently enrolled at NSSR. NSSR is located in New York City, one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the world.

Costs, scholarships and funding

Students are expected to enroll for three courses (9 credits) per semester. The tuition is currently at $2100.00 per credit. NSSR will provide RUB exchange students a scholarship to cover 50% of the cost of tuition. The students will be responsible for the remaining 50% of tuition and the cost of university and divisional fees - currently totaling $180.00 per semester. In order to finance your living expenses, there are various helpful scholarship programmes at your disposal.
